Here's a great website to keep track of travels in Oregon: http://www.traveloregon.com/Explore-Oregon.aspx I like that it has a virtual 'Joural' which looks like a book to mark all of my favorite places. It also has a pin point map.
cheap tickets are at AirValues.
My wife and I are always looking for a better on-line air fare. I've try many. It's hard to get tickets in a good price range and also one needs to trust the company. Many times we've been paranoid of fraudulent companies. But generally, buy air fare on line is cheap convenient and common. AirValues have been around for 14 years. That's a long time for a airline ticket company. One can get international and domestic flights. There are deep discounts for students, business, and family travel packages for %65% off the price of the ticket. That's a great deal. AirValue has a search-able data of 6 millions cheap airline tickets.

I'm always on a look out for travel gadgets and ideas. I like to sample travel journals. The latest on is from Moleskine City books. I saw a woman writing in her Pocket Moleskine, freshly opened. She was sipping her latte at the Goethe Cafe and writing in her Mole. I saw people with ipods on the plane. iAudio guides has a fantastic idea. They have combined both, the travel book and the ipod. I don't know if they have a guide to Poland, the country where I just got back from. But even if I don't make it to London, I can travel in my arm chair. I'll definately check out Italy. Also available in MP3 but the cool thing about it is that the maps can be download into and view on the ipod. I can sellect exactly which monuments to listen too in the Vienna site. I've been to Vienna in 2001 (before 9/11) and forgot much of watch I saw there. So the audio guides provides a refresher course in history.
It's great to listen to on the airplane on your way to your destination. Oh the anticipation of travels!
