Park West Art Gallery is a large auction art gallery. It has the largest collection of fine art in the West and perhaps the world. They have fine art auctions in the States and Canada. Their Affiliate company, Park West at Sea, has art auction at Sea, in the cruse ship as they float around the world. How exotic! I've never heard of an auction at sea.
Clearly, this is for the rich. The list of artist is long. One of which is Jean-Claude Picot. He is influenced by Matisse. His painting are bright and happy, filled with “joie de vivre”. Lanscapes seem to open up in the wall and invite the viewers into the scene. They evoke an innocent and rich atmosphere. I'm just filled with happiness when I look at his work. I could not paint it his way. My subject is dark and moody. I like the sunny spots of his paintings. His brush strokes are wild as is the color. Some of the painting border on the abstract of form color and bold strokes.
I also like the figurative work.

Here's a new toy for your blogging.myplaylis is a picture / music playlist compiler. What a smart idea this is for the blogging communities. I just saw a cool and informative chart on the rebuilding of New Orleans. It has a circle in the center like a target and the four cardinal directions, each dedicated to a specific subject. This website is coolio. Add this to all your blogrolls:

Oh man this is so cool. You can make your very own slide show of photos and selected track to accompany the view-age. This is good for the photographer who wants to make a wedding album slide show to show case his work on a blog or website. For the artist who want to be doing some sort of conceptual project using images and a mix of sound track. Often you see this done as performance art or a/v mix media presentation. I dig.
